Right from history, the art of Divide and Conquer has been well known. They used the technique to dilute the higher concentrated power into multiple small powers.
Historically, this strategy was used in many different ways by empires seeking to expand their territories. Because they found it to be a problem.
A problem is highly concentrated and huge until it’s broken down to its tiny versions and taken down with a strategy!
